Applications for Fellows Recognition Now Being Accepted

Thomas E. Smith Jr., AICP, FSMPS, Fellows Delegate on the National Board of Directors, extends an invitation to all eligible members to apply for recognition as an SMPS Fellow. Members who have been active in the Society for more than 10 years and who have earned the Certified Professional Services Marketer designation are eligible. Applications will be mailed to qualified members this week. If you qualify and do not receive an application, please contact the National Office.

The deadline to submit applications is Friday, March 30, 2007. Successful candidates will be notified at the end of May and honored during Build Business, the SMPS/PSMA National Conference, in Washington, DC, in August.

The Fellows of SMPS represent the highest level of experience and leadership in marketing and business development within the built and natural environments. The Fellows serve as a resource at the chapter, regional, and national levels, providing insight, ideas, programs, and mentoring for the benefit of the members and the Society. In addition, these individuals teach, write, and speak on marketing issues outside of SMPS, working to advance the profession of marketing professional services throughout the architectural/engineering/ construction industry.
