National Conference Panels Emphasize Clients and Creativity
A panel discussion is an effective, efficient vehicle for gathering information and a range of expert opinions on any topic. The Build Business Planning Committee has put together 11 panels for the conference this August, covering topics from creativity to strategies for succeeding in the American Indian development, defense, and healthcare markets, to firm management, financing, sustainable design, media relations, diversity, market research, and urban revitalization.

The Build Business panels will include national and regional clients who will discuss activity in their market sectors, upcoming projects, selection criteria, and decision-making processes. As a marketer or business developer responsible for securing work for your firm, attending these panel sessions offers you an opportunity to expand your network of clients, firm leaders, and media and to hear the latest thinking and dynamic trends in business development, marketing, customer care, firm management, and leadership.

Attendees can earn 14.5 CPSM CEUs and AIA LUs by attending Build Business.

Healthcare represents one of the largest markets for A/E/C firms as aging baby boomers challenge healthcare providers to offer the best and latest technologies, services, and amenities in their facilities. The charge to keep up with competitors while paying attention to the bottom line makes the role of managing healthcare facilities more demanding than ever. A panel of national healthcare executives from the private, public, and academic teaching hospital sectors will present their perspectives on these changes, how institutions are responding, and opportunities for A/E/C firms.
