8th Annual Building Team Project of the Year Awards
"Building Design & Construction" is accepting entries in its 8th Annual Building Team Project Awards competition.

The 8th Annual Building Team Project of the Year Awards will recognize the best team projects in three categories: Commercial Buildings, Institutional Buildings, and Industrial Buildings. For the purposes of the awards program, the categories will comprise the following building types:

  • Commercial: Retail; office; multifamily and mixed-use buildings; hotels
  • Institutional: Public and private healthcare; public office buildings; criminal justice facilities; public and private schools; public and private higher education; airport terminals and other transportation-related buildings
  • Industrial: Manufacturing facilities, R&D/lab facilities

International projects are encouraged.

Jury and Judging Criteria
The judging panel will be composed of experts from all the major disciplines of the industry, including architects, engineers, construction managers, general contractors, and owners. Individual judges on the panel may include either officials or members of major industry professional associations.

Entries will be judged on both the excellence of their design/construction and, to a greater degree, the collaborative excellence of the building team.

Recognition of Winners
Winning projects will be featured in the May 2005 issue of Building Design & Construction.

Deadline
The final deadline for entries to be received by Building Design & Construction is February 18, 2005.

For entry details, please visit http://www.bdcmag.com/bta05/index.asp.
