“Critical Skills for Marketers,” Second Program in Webinar Series
The second program in the Mid-Day Webinar Series, "Critical Skills for Marketers: The Path to Empowerment," is scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, from 2-3:30 pm (ET).
Hosted by SMPS National and led by Sally Handley, FSMPS, President of Sally Handley Inc., this session provides training on the critical skills marketers need to maximize performance:
- setting clear, measurable goals
- participating in meetings effectively
- communicating internally
- developing a network of professional peers and colleagues
- evaluating performance.
Sally A. Handley, FSMPS, has nearly 25 years' experience in the marketing of engineering and architectural services. Handley was SMPS Chapter President of the Year in 1998 and recipient of the Year 2000 SMPS New York Marketing Achievement Award. An adjunct faculty member at Pratt Institute in Manhattan, Handley co-authored Charting Your Career Path: Career Opportunities for Professional Services Marketers in the 21st Century, an SMPS publication.
The registration fee for this webinar is $75 for SMPS members and $150 for nonmembers. The fee is per site, not per person, and participants are encouraged to invite coworkers to join them.
The Mid-Day Webinar Series is an interactive, 90-minute seminar series conducted via audio teleconference and the Internet and hosted by industry experts covering industry hot topics, best practices, and specials interests. On the scheduled date and time, participants log onto the SMPS web site to view the presentation online and simultaneously call in to hear the presenter, contribute to the discussion, and participate in the Q&A.
Participants can earn 1.5 CPSM CEUs and 1.5 AIA LU hours during each 90-minute program. Appropriate documentation is provided at the conclusion of the event.
Fifty-five SMPS members participated the first program in the webinar series, "The Economic Forecast for 2005" with David Wyss, chief economist with Standard & Poor’s, on November 16.
