Morris Architects is pleased to announce that Deborah Miller Horowitz has joined the firm as Regional Director of Business Development, based in the Orlando office. Morris Architects (www.morrisarchitects.com) provides architectural and interior design, strategic planning, programming, and environmental graphic design services. With offices in Orlando, Houston, and Los Angeles, the firm's professional practice is international with projects and registration in 23 states and work in the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, Mexico, South America, and the Pacific Rim. Morris Architects is organized into seven studios, each dedicated to a designated area of focus: civic, corporate, education, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, and public assembly.

Jamie Draper has joined Engineering Consulting Services, Inc., as Marketing Director. With more than 10 years' experience in the A/E industry, Jamie will be responsible for overseeing the marketing and business development efforts for the firm. She is a founding board member of SMPS Kentucky. With its home office in Lexington, KY, and field offices in Whitley and Pike Counties, Engineering Consulting Services, Inc. (www.engrservices.com), provides civil, environmental, and mining engineering; land surveying; and health and safety training to clients throughout the southeastern United States.

Witcher Construction Company, the North Central Division of the JE Dunn Group, has hired Harlan Hallquist, FSMPS, as vice president of marketing and business development. Additionally, he will assist with the company's national Centers of Excellence for health care, residential, education, gaming, and retail markets. Harlan is a Past President of SMPS Twin Cities and a former Chapter Delegate to the SMPS National Board of Directors.
