CPSMs Get a Boost in the SMPS Career Center

Certified Professional Services Marketers (CPSMs) who post resumes in the online SMPS Career Center can include their CPSM designation and will receive priority listing over noncertified candidates. That means when an employer or recruiter searches the SMPS resume bank for job candidates, CPSMs will appear first in the search results—a distinct advantage in this market.

If you are planning a career change, please visit the SMPS Career Center at www.smps.org/members/careerinfo.htm and create a free, confidential account. Your account will include an online resume that captures your work history, educational background, and skills. Please Note: When you post your completed resume to the Career Center, your contact information is withheld. Employers using the Career Center see only anonymous resumes. If an employer or recruiter wishes to contact you based on your background, you will be notified first and given the option of releasing your contact information—or not releasing your information—to that firm. You retain control of your career path—just sit back and let the employers come to you!

CPSMs: As you build your online resume, be sure to check the box that asks if you are "CPSM certified." This will automatically add the CPSM designation to your online resume and move your profile to the top of search result listings.

If you have any questions regarding the SMPS Career Center, please contact Molly Dall'Erta at 1.800.292.7677, x231, or molly@smps.org. [ return to top ]
